Mission

The Service Engineer position is a key position of the VAISALAShanghai Sensor Ltd. Service team an d plays an important role in the growth ofcompany business in China. This includes the Maintaining customer satisfactionby providing problem-solving an d quality service; an d feedback of the operationof Leosphere Lidar in the market for continues improvement.

Reporting line

The Customer Service Engineer positionwill report directly to China Industry Director.

Some regular exchange with Frenchservice team is also necessary.

Activities

·Install/commission of the equipment on site and/or lead thesub-contractor to fulfill the contract requirement on site according to companyQMS;

·Communicate with Client of the onsite installation/commission/datacollection;

·Coordinate with the logistic of the equipment on site;

·Supervise on site work quality of the sub-contractor, maintain highcustomer satisfactory on site work;

·Logging of all NC’s on Bugzilla an d customer case on Salesforce （CRM）

·Keeping the traceability matrix （system /component/ software/…）up-to-date

·Comply with the Service SLA （Service report under 48hrs, MTTR, …）

·Support the business growth requirements by offering feedback toSales/R&D on improvement business opportunities.

·Environment, Health an d Safety compliance;

Required Skills – certifications

·Engineering major in laser optic, electronic,or computer science.

· More than 5 years of engineeringexperience, especially in electrical Ｏr informatic equipment service,maintenance an d repair

· Good technical knowledge an d hand onexperience with: Linux OS, SQL database, Computer network, Matlab, SSH, FTP,NTP, Client-Server application would be beneficial but can be learned on thejob

· Enthusiastic, Self-Motivated, Organizedwith a logical approach to problem solving an d an eye for detail. A proventrack record of working as team leader more than 2 years

·Excellent communication skills an d CustomerService mindset;

·Flexible traveling schedule toproject sites; in China an d Asia

·Fluent oral an d written English andChinese mandarin.
